Great Uniben as we call it, some call it Unibest. thankfully i am a proud alumni of this great institution, you cannot graduate from the University of Benin and still be found wanting, a typical uniben student knows how to create a living for himself even after graduating from school.

The Institution was founded in 1970. It started as an Institute of Technology and was accorded the status of a full-fledged University by National Universities Commission (NUC) on 1 July 1971. They represent positively where ever they are found.
