This post which talks about the school fees and other related charges of FUPRE is meant for prospective students who have chosen or wish to choose the university. I tabulated the school fees of both new and returning students of FUPRE. Before going to the nitty-gritty, it would be wise to have a historical background of the University.
The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun simply known as (FUPRE), Delta State, Nigeria was established in March 2007 under a Federal Government of Nigeria’s initiative to create a University which specializes in producing unique high level manpower and relevant expertise for the Oil & Gas industry both in Nigeria and across its shores.
The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun initially occupied the PTI Conference centre, Effurun Delta state, which is few kilometres away from the permanent site. The new site covered large hectares of land generously leased by the chiefs and people of Uviwe kingdom.
FUPRE is the first of its kind in Africa and it is destined to be the premier international institution-of-choice with the state-of-the-art facilities to provide the petroleum and allied sectors, world class education, training, research, consultancy and extension services.
FUPRE organize its academic activities along college lines. Under this arrangement, related Departments are grouped to form a College without an intervening tier of faculties.
Colleges are by no means self-sufficient as the University encourage inter-disciplinary approach to all its teaching and research activities. Below are the two Colleges present:

ACCOMMODATION (OPTIONAL)
This is an option for every student as it is only available for undergraduates. Some students would rather live outside the school environments. so it depends on the student.
Accommodation fee for FUPRE Effurun is N30,000 (Thirty Thousand Naira) only for accommodation per student for 2016/2017 session. Please note that this is optional for which a separate receipt should be issued to any paying student and allocation of bed space is strictly on first come, first served basis for :
