Multiple award screen diva Omotola Jalade Ekehinde popularly known as “Omosexy”is a Nigerian actress, singer, Philanthropist and former model. The Nollywood icon was born on 7th February 1978, she hails from Ondo state, she grew up in Lagos with both parents and two siblings (Tayo & Bolaji Jalade). Her mother, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Jalade worked at J.T Chanrai Nig. She lost her father Mr.Oluwashola Jalade at an early stage,he worked with Y.M.C.A and the Lagos country club.
Acquiring knowledge is the first step to being successful. The veteran actress educational background began at Chrisland School Opebi (1981-1987),Oxford Children School (1987),Command Secondary School Kaduna (1988-1993), briefly studied at Obafemi Awolowo University(O.A.U),completed her studies at Yaba College of Technology(1996-2004),where she studied Estate Management.
