1. Nigerian Breweries

Nigerian Breweries, one of Africa’s largest brewery and Nigeria’s first brewery company and also on the top 10 list of the biggest and best manufacturing companies in Nigeria. It was founded in Nigeria on the 16th of November 1946 with Nicolas Valverde as its current MD. They are the first and largest brewery in Nigeria. Their products include alcoholic drinks such as gulder, Heineken, ace passion apple spark, star, legend extra stout, Goldberg lager, star lite lager and life continental lager as well as non alcoholic drinks like maltina, malta gold, Amstel malta, climax energy drink and fayrouz.
In November 2015, Nigerian Breweries introduced the international brand Strongbow cider , which makes it the first in Nigeria to produce and bottle the cider category beverage.

2. Nestle Nigeria

Nestle, one of the oldest companies in the world, her history dates back to 1866, formed by two Swiss enterprises, which later formed the core Nestlé. Nestlé is the biggest manufacturing company for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Nigeria and which gives it the ambience to grace the list of the top 10 manufacturing companies in Nigeria. 3. Flour Mills of Nigeria

Flour Mills of Nigeria is a private limited liability company in Nigeria that was founded in 1962. The company produces Golden Penny flours, which is very popular amongst bakeries, consumers and confectioneries in Nigeria.

4. Dangote Group

This is the largest manufacturing conglomerate in West Africa owned by the richest black man in the world known Aliko Dangote Dangote Dangote. The company which was founded in 1981 produce sugar, flour, salt, steel, cement, oil and gas as well as packaging materials amongst others. The conglomerate has other subsidiaries including Dangote Transport, Dangote Textiles, Dangote Cement, Dansa Foods Limited, Kura Holdings Limited and Dancom Technologies, Dangote Tomato plantation amongst others.
Dangote group is already working on its oil refinery, and this will make it Nigeria’s first private refinery, which is scheduled to launch in 2019.
